Amps and Gear: currently line 6 flextone III, not bad but does not do the guitar justice

About Me:: other guitars i have been letting sit in the closet include a ovation celebrity deluxe 12 string, a zion radicaster (blue marble finish), and a bradley 4 string fretless with a quilted maple top (a prototype i bought while working for venemans). Current musical interests are opeth, slayer, testament, lamb of god, etc... it really depends on my mood. I tend to go between aggressive music and really chill stuff like marley, floyd, buffet.. same with guitars, either i am on the acoustic constantly or attempting to shred the paint off my electric with a chainsaw.... Married and have two kids, both boys. they have been seriously keeping me so busy that its been hard to get to the guitar as much as i would like. when i do i just draw a blank, dont seem to be able to create...

At 1:48pm on June 10th, 2008, Howard William Jacobe IV said…: thank you sir. i acctually inhereted them from my dad. i concur with your consensus over line 6. my major dissapointment would have to be the distortions. they are good for home use, but live performances tend to be drowned out by white noise. when i used it live, i found myself competing rather the playing with free spirit. the twang feature with alot of reverb and a lil chourus backed by an acoustic electric is a superb tone in my opinion. another view i take is with the technological aspect. it is very convient to create unusal sound by turning a knob. additionally i live in a townhome, and as abartender i want to go home and jam, so being able to plug in a set of bose headphones evokes quite the listening experience. overall i perfer the raw sound of a cabniet and a marshall tubed head, a much better quality for studio. yet for practice, jamming with friends, and most importantly instrumental betterment,improvment,progress; its a sweet deal!

obviously i have alot to say bout the product!
