About Me:
Although I've had guitars around me for as long as I can remember, I didn't learn to play until seven years ago... I began playing bass and transitioned to guitar within the year. I was self-taught until 2005, when I took a few theory classes at a local community college. I quickly began to listen to more and more fingerstyle guitar music and soon realized that I wanted to work within the music industry. After college I started working for a major guitar company and decided within a few months that I wanted to build at a slower pace- only 1-4 guitars a month instead of a few dozen every day. I moved to Olympia, Washington and with the help of my mom and dad- began the next stage of my life. I'm now building guitars every day and working toward having a price list out by the end of the summer. Throughout the next few months I'll have more info up. Thanks for reading!

Match, love the pics of guitars your building. One question. The Kerfing appears to be very tall I'm guessing 1"+ vs 5/8" the norm. and it appears to be Oak? Pretty looking ! Does this add much weight to the guitar. Oh and I like the idea of the side braces, do you think they move the drive of the top to the back a little, besides giving more support to the back. Wood worker and maybe future guitar builder ( My old good friend, guitar budy, and band member was Alan Hamel, Ex fender Custom shop builder. The closest i've got to bulding a guitar was putting the 3rd of about thirty coats on a Duane Eddy, My friend Alan was building for him) Good luck with your Dream Job.... Flathead ( Michael)
