this weeks featured pick up: Lipstick Tube for Danelectro® SLD-1

application
Vintage correct single-coil Lipstick Tube pickup. Recommended for country, pop, surf, blues, jazz and classic rock.

description
These are faithful recreations of the American originals. All of our Lipsticks use Alnico magnets and a special winding spec to bring out the great tone in your original or re-issue Danolectro®. The tone is bright and jangly, and works especially well for rhythm playing.

Michael. i really recomend the duncan invaders, they are really high out put but they hardly make any noise while you dont play, even with the gain turned up way high... they get INSANE pick harmonics and they add a really nice tone to your guitar... try em out!

I put seymore duncan metal live wires in my zion several years back and am just not getting the power that i want. They dont seem to be nearly responsive enough and are somewhat too muddy, they just do not cut and are very flat. Does anyone have any suggestions on a set of actives that you really like? I put about 300 into the live wires and honestly its somewhat expensive to just "try" them out.

Hey, thanks for setting up the group! I assume the Black Beauty has the standard Gibson PAF pickups. :)
